Useful details to include

  • What you expected and what happened instead.
  • Your iPhone model, iOS version, and Probably app version.
  • Whether the issue affects personal predictions or a shared group.
  • The approximate time of the problem and any visible error message.

Please do not email active invite or membership-transfer codes, membership tokens, or sensitive prediction details. A screenshot is useful only after you check what it reveals.

Group-sync basics

  • Open Probably while online, then pull down on the Groups screen.
  • Invite codes expire after 48 hours or when revoked. Redemption fails while a group is full, although its preview can remain available until expiry/revocation.
  • One device identity can belong to one active group at a time.
  • To move an existing membership, start Transfer membership on the old device. The code is valid for 10 minutes. Complete the in-app flow on the destination device; it prepares a new credential locally before redeeming the code. A successful transfer immediately signs out the old credential and removes its server notification registrations.
  • Leaving a group stops access and turns your own shared predictions into personal ones on that device. It also removes that identity's push registrations, but it is not the same as deleting contributions already shared.

Probably Together subscriptions

  • One subscribed organizer sponsors one private group for up to seven invited members. Invited members participate without buying a separate subscription.
  • Use Settings → Probably Together → Restore Purchases after a reinstall or when an active purchase is not recognized.
  • Manage or cancel the subscription through Apple's subscription settings. Removing the app, leaving the group, or deleting group data does not cancel it.
  • When organizer access expires, existing group content remains available for reading and data controls, while new premium group activity pauses until renewal.

Reporting and blocking

  • Open another member's shared prediction, tap its ••• menu, then choose Report prediction.
  • For another member's live shared comment, open its ellipsis menu and chooseReport comment. Select the closest reason, add optional context, and submit.
  • In the Groups roster, open another member's ellipsis menu and chooseBlock [name] or Unblock [name]. The app asks for confirmation and marks a blocked roster row as Blocked.

Blocking hides that person's comments on your device and stops group-activity notifications between both identities. Shared predictions and forecast history remain visible so the group's prediction record stays consistent. Blocking does not notify the other member. For an immediate threat or emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service; the in-app report queue is not an emergency channel.

Privacy and deletion

Probably has no email/password account. Group access uses a pseudonymous device identity. Settings → Your dataprovides a personal journal archive, a current-group export, confirmed local deletion, and authenticated deletion of current-group data. The group export includes only your profile and records authored by your identity; it excludes other members' profiles and records and removes structured mentions. The personal archive never contains your group credential and does not transfer group access to another device. Use the separate membership-transfer flow for that. Deleting current-group data does not erase journal copies kept locally on that iPhone; local-journal deletion is a separate choice. Read the Privacy Policy or the Data Deletion page for the exact scope.
